Ok, I think that's the problem.

You need:
Top SCART on V+ to top SCART on VCR.
Bottom SCART on VCR to TV.

I know you said it didn't work, but try again. Bear in mind you'll need to select a different input when recording on the VCR. I think you VCR calls it "L2".

Hi
I think I read in the user manual L1.
Plus when the technician came with the box,he definately said L1.

So,you are saying to put the scarts back to the way you told me the other day,which I did tried and it did not copy????

Will try on L2.

Yep, but you need to select L2.

I had this problem before and as spiderplant has pointed out i had to select A2 on my vcr to copy, so you may need to try L2 ( and it works with the HDMI cable plugged in as well ). Hope this will help you

Spiderplant,am not favouring Ben B`s advice over your`s.did not realise that they are the same as have not had a go at his yet.

I appreciate all the info. you have given me ...

I am really beginning to think that it could be the scart leads...am going to have another go now...fingers crossed!!!
