and if you map a drive to one of the deeper folders, does that enable you to navigate deeper? eg;

\\Machine\c\F1\F2\F3\F4\F5\F6\F7 (can't go any further)

map drive to F7 (say Z:\) can you then go;

Z:\F8\F9\F10

etc??

also, is the client account you are using an admin account on said client?

Just mapped a new drive to a folder 4 levels in, and from the mapped drive can navigate further in as you suggested. In fact got up to F10 from the mapped drive before I stopped.

Yes, all accounts are admin accounts

out of curiosity are you getting any 'Not enough server storage' or similar error messages?

sounds like the joliet issue I stated earlier to me.
