Re: Why do you use Internet Explorer?

I use IE for work intranet sites because they are written for IE (Sharepoint isn't great with FF) and Firefox for anything external.

Re: Why do you use Internet Explorer?

As others have said, I fall back on IE to view sites that don't work properly with other browsers

Re: Why do you use Internet Explorer?

At the end of the day it's just an internet browser, as long as i can get my web pages, i don't really care what browser i use, doesn't really make a difference imo

why would you have IE6 on your machine? Why not upgrade to IE8 no need for those MYIE rip offs.

I use IE out of habit and the fact that I am just not ready to make firefox my full time browser yet.

It means it won't work properly in IE.

I use Firefox nearly all the time. Some sites just don't work at all without IE. They tend to not get used. And I like the addons for Firefox. xMarks is nearly the first to go on to any new machine, sync my passwords and bookmarks.

I am working on a site for work and IE6 doesn't work properly, IE7 is OK but IE8 looks really odd. Works great in FF. (W3C standard XHTML).

Re: Why do you use Internet Explorer?

I keep a few browsers installed for testing out HTML/Javascript. That includes IE, but Firefox is my full-time browser.
