I would suggest you start from the first book, I'd already seen 1 & 2 but then decided on the books, the books again are better than the films and reading them all in order is great

You must read them in order or you will fail to understand the story.

The books are better than the movies but they give a more visual angle to the story.

I was lucky enough to get the first book and new moon for my birthday , im on new moon now, only on chapter 4 "waking up".

I've never known someone hate there birthday as much as Bella, she seems a pain in the neck in the books lol.

Just finished reading Breaking Dawn ...again.. They're apparently breaking the final book into two films which means a recast of a couple of characters due to them demanding more money (the same thing that meant a Victoria change)

Kellan Lutz and Ashley Greene, the actors who play the vampire Cullen kids, have rejected Summit Entertainment's offer to return for a fifth movie, thus holding up the studio's plan to split "Breaking Dawn" into two installments.

According to THR, Lutz and Greene are asking for in the $2 million range for each of two proposed "Breaking Dawn" movies, though some sources are quoting twice that figure. While lead actors Kristen Stewart, Robert Pattinson and Taylor Lautner all successfully renegotiated their contracts for huge raises after the first "Twilight" movie struck gold, Summit did not offer to renegotiate with the Cullens. Reportedly, the salaries for the actors playing the Cullens has been comparatively low on the first three films, which might explain them wanting to cash in on "Breaking Dawn," the last of Stephenie Meyers' series of romantic vampire novels. As to "the big three," they are said to be close to deals with Summit

Hmmm, good film, great action and still being semi-true to the books....


....but... they really still haven't refound the spark that showed their love so strongly between Edward and Bella in the first film. The books just as much about their love than anything else and it is failing to come across lately.

Went to see it yesterday and quite enjoyed it, to me it just helps visualise the books more than anything.

The next 2 movies should be good as that book is to long to just have the one.

Wonder how big the car budget is for Breaking Dawn?

I personally do not think there has been enough character building. Not enough info on the past of the Cullens. I went last night and enjoyed the insight into Jasper and Roselie as well as an insight into the Indians/wolves. To many charectors with missing backgrounds for me

Still I enjoyed the movie

Excellent line from one of the reviews - "Amazing how the budgets of the poor werewolf families can only run to denim shorts and weightlifting equipment"

I am pleased the rumoured recast of some of the Cullens has not happened for Breaking Dawn though
