Re: Site working?

I use Lloyds imternet banking. Have done for a long while now. Having no trouble logging in. Using Vista and with XP Pro as well. So looks like W7 trouble to me.

Re: Site working?

I can see that IP address when it tries to connect, this all started (I think) when I installed windows 7. I have no problems with Barclays https.

I did clear DNS lookup, called Lloyds Internet Banking, they went through the browser settings, I think its old settings they had, but I changed what I could, still nothing.

Never seen this before.

I logged in with another PC at my daughters ok (SKY), now here is the thing, my daughter just bought a new laptop, it has Windows 7, and it wont connect, so there must be a setting as thats 2 sony laptops and 2 PC's with windows 7, which wont connect

Update
Bypassed Router, no change
Disabled Windows Firewall, No change
Switched off Protection mode, No change

Logged on with a Nintendo Wii Without problems !

Im going nuts, whats up with Windows 7, some hidden feature ?

Re: Site working?

Update, Sony Laptop has a web button, it loads the internet browser only (Splashtop Browser). This works without any problems. So somthing in internet explorer 8 (windows 7) is blocking.

But where

Re: Site working?

I'm baffled. It works fine in my (absolutely default) IE8 on Win7.

The only thing I can suggest is to add it to your Trusted sites in Internet Options/Security.

Re: Site working?

Yep already added to my trusted sites, also checked hosts file, and every other setting I can think off. The browser is blocking it as soon as i use the url.

Thing is, a new laptop with hardly anything changed is doing the same thing, so it cant be something ive done, it has to be a default setting.
