Re: worried
My statement, prior still stands. Take all his "fun" things away, etc. Ground him to his room for a month

People forget their Pin numbers every day and ring in to get them reset, all you get asked is your name, address and a customer verification password or how do you pay your bill purely for Data Protection purposes and they will reset the Pin number for you without asking why.
Calm down ring in and get it reset for peace of mind.

As Moldova says, they don't need to know why you want your pin reset. Even if they did ask, you could just say it's because someone has been ordering pay per view events, without specifying what events they are (95% of what's available on PPV isn't porn). You wouldn't be lying as such (the porn is PPV), but you don't need to admit to your son viewing porn either.

Re: worried
The default pin will either be 1234 or 0000 these are the only 2 defaults.
Even if he was watching adult content there is no way any VM employee can see what it was as it always shows as additional feature and the real name is never shown.

No you wouldn't - the PIN number is required to watch ANY post-watershed material on TV on Demand or TV Choice, and to order ANY film. Besides, I think VM call centre staff have better things to do than snigger at customers viewing habits.
Also, in my opinion, I think you have over-reacted and will reaffirm the view that Sex is dirty, unnatural, should be kept underwraps. Perhaps a better action would be to sit down and have "the chat" with him.

I cannot possibly "chat" with him about something like this!! I wouldn't know where to begin (pains me to say it but i'm in my 40's). and grounding him and taking all his fun away just does not work with him. I've tried everything possible... the only thing that seems to work is embarrasing him in front of his father by giving him a paddling.

Just get the PIN reset no questions will be asked and ensure that you do not write it down.
Do not feel any shame about it as it is nothing to worry about and you will just cause yourself not to sleep, do the above and put it behind you.

Good combination!
Seriously, just give them a ring and have that pin reset. I doubt they will even ask why you want it resetting

Re: worried
Don't give your son too much of a hard time over it. At that age most guys need to learn the facts of life and thats how they find it out. Nothing wrong.
Just dont give him any pocket money or money for anything if he managed to get on a payTV channel.
Then he can pay up for it all.
