Re: Has your local radio channel been removed from Virgin TV?

I don't have Virgin TV but on Metro Radio, somebody phoned in and said they can't receive Metro Radio on Cable due to a No longer broadcasting message or the sort coming on.

Metro, TFM and Magic are all one company, so I'm guessing none of them broadcast too. Metro definitely not broadcasting.

I'm ex-telewest and BRMB is on 964 here, so that isn't always true.
Strangely others have listed it on 944 though.

Re: Has your local radio channel been removed from Virgin TV?

It look to me like the deal Telewest sign with Bauer Radio (Was Emap Radio), GMG Radio and UTV Radio was up.

Maybe Virgin Media did not sign an new deal for local Radio to be added to other areas of the network, or the Radio broadcasters did not want to sign an new deal (to save them money). We will ever know.
