Re: Why did I agree to a 'Free' upgrade, now no BB access
Well I cleared ou the browser's cache last night and did a little bit more investigation.
The problem is only with trying to launch google (either .co.uk or .com). All other web sites launch okay but trying google always takes me to the page with the registartion redirection link on it!!!!
If I do an nslookup on google and then just put in the IP address in to the browser then it launches okay.
Anyone have any ideas, cause it's got me stumped.

http://www.ccleaner.com/ is a great little app for doing that, and it's free.

If you have a router, have you reset that?
DNS proxying by some routers can have odd effects, also, test to make sure you have full speed - if you only have 1 megabit, then the modem configuration has not completed.

Matt, yes reset my router and checked download speed and it's around 16meg and I'm on the 20meg service. So looks like the config must have completed successfully

Hi Webcrawler, yep ex NTL. Does that give you some clues then?
Cheers,
