Although what you've posted about frequency is 100% correct, a lot of interference problems are caused by the electrical field strength of a transmission, not the frequency.
I can knock out my neighbours FM radio by transmitting on a totally different, harmonically unrelated frequency(Kymmy knows what I mean

), my output is clean, but the neighbours radio has a naff front end.
