Sounds like you need to get your affairs in order Central doesn't sound like you've got long left mate.
Kidding, I'm just kidding...sounds to me like severe bruising mate, stick a bag of frozen peas on it in the evenings and take some anti-inflammatories ie a couple of Brufen every 6 to 8 hours.

Arnica gel is great for reducing bruising and will not mask a break.
Guy at work broke his foot playing footy and thought it was just a bad sprain, luckily someone sensible saw him and took him to the local MIU. He will be out of plaster in a couple of weeks.
