But this just draws attention to his odious views.

People like him love it when they get 'banned' - generates loads of free publicity, massages their fragile egos, makes people think that their opinions have some kind of substance.

They should have just allowed him in so he could be ignored by everybody.

I agree cookie but what we have here it seems is a government that has decided it doesn't want him spouting off his rubbish and as a sovereign state funnily enough they have that right. Personally i think it is people like george galloway that make it easy for certain governments to curtail free speech and erode that right for all of us who are able to state our views without offending a great majority while doing it unlike pea brains like george.

Thats not the issue here, Its what the Canadians want.....happily our views are in agreement

I agree that they have the right to do that. I just don't think it's very smart of them to exercise that right in this case.

I don't doubt it, this guy is so filled with self importance he probably believes he can overturn the Canadian governments decision.
Surprising really for a man who's well known for his disapproval of America that his comfortable pocketing greenbacks on the lecture tour over there, I seem to remember him aiming his vitriol at Tony Blair for the self same thing.
But I'm sure he can turn his greatest skill, his mouth, to explain to us why its OK for him to stuff his pockets, but not Blair.

i just dont like this mans views ,but as he is a brit he can say just about what he wants in the uk ,thats his right , but the Canadians dont have to listen to him or make him welcome , thats there right .

Shocker george is going the legal route who didn't see that coming he really needs to get over himself and realise he is not someone who is worth that much to 99% of people.
