And you could claim a rebate if it was only a bit crappy.

Re: 'Chocolate tax' to tackle obesity
OK. I'll get these out my system.
I’m gonna wispa this;
This forum consists of whole nuts full of hot aero acting like smarties. You should smell the r oses, take a time out, don’t fudge the issues by acting like heroes. Don’t be a drifter, be a matchmaker and go for a picnic so that you don’t get the munchies.
I’ll get my coat.

Re: 'Chocolate tax' to tackle obesity
Its a great money making idea if you think about it, they have already shut swimming pools lesuire centers and built houses/factorys on your local fields, now the armchair nation they created that has nowhere much to go, lets tax all the food and sweet stuff and make a killing.

Actually it does work with tobacco and alcohol. Or at least it does with alcohol. Alcohol costs less in real terms now than it did 50 years ago and there's a neat correlation between alcohol consumption rising and its price falling.
BBC news had an item on the alcohol issue the other week - with regard to alcohol tax proposals by the Scottish government - and displayed a graph. Unfortunately this was the TV news, so I don't know if I can find a linkable version.

Right, get your coat, start running and don't look back. Because I'm putting a bounty on your head.

I thought I'd cause a ripple but at least you didn't take a flake-y and act like a fruit and nut.
I know you're the pun champ and I know I walnut whip you. (groan). Still I can dream and boost my self confidence.
{I'll get my coat again, this time I'll do up the buttons and twirl out onto the first double decker so don't blow a fuse.).

Which planets is this doctor from, and in which galaxy is it in? It's certainly not part of the milky way.

Re: 'Chocolate tax' to tackle obesity
Love all the choclate posts!!
Of course we all know who is responable for giving their children chocolate bars.........the parents!
If they do not buy them and feed them to their kids, there will not be a problem of child obesity and early onset on diabetes.
A LITTLE of what you fancy does you good........not a lot!
I am amazed at the ammount of radio and television time this Doctors opinions have been given today actually.
It must be a quiet news day??

Re: 'Chocolate tax' to tackle obesity
This isn't to tackle obesity. it's to take advantage of obesity.
