Re: Battlestar to be rebooted.. Again..

I am a little nostalgic, I must confess I very much enjoyed the 70's version, although I must've watched re-runs in the 80's. As far as I was concerned "face" was in BSG

I haven't made the mistake of re-watching as I have done in other show I enjoyed as a kid...

One thing I think the new series lacks. Humour. In my experience, some humans find humour in a lot of things. Especially when they are under a lot of stress. It is actually one of our mechanisms for coping with stress.

I am not talking about some of the original series attempts at humour (the Kid, Boxy and his irritating robot pet were a staggeringly bad idea as was Galactica 1980), but some humour would have made (IMO) the new series better. The characters are a little two dimensional without it.

I dunno Baltar provides some comic relief sometimes.

I think Stuart mean't they don't crack jokes and are a little too stoic to be realistic.

Good show nicely done, I don't watch fantasy fiction for realism.

I don't see why not.

The Sarah Conner Chronicles are treading a different path to the Terminator film franchise and both co-exist happily.

With the ratings of the last couple of episodes stateside since they moved it from Monday to Friday, I'd be surprised if Fox renew T:TSCC for a third season. There was doubt that there would be a second half of season 2.
