Re: Slow Remote Reactions

Sounds like your box has a fault. Give Virgin a call.

Re: Slow Remote Reactions

You might want to read a previous post of mine! - I was getting very angry also - but the box I have now (my 3rd one) seems ok

Here is the previous thread

Re: Slow Remote Reactions

My TV has this effect on my box - proven as it goes away when I turn it off (my TV) without fail.

Re: Slow Remote Reactions

My slow response started a week ago after I reset the box to cure a 'smart card invalid' error message. Tried lots more re-boots amd even unplugging for an hour with no effect. Then yesterday back came the 'smart card invalid' message. I reset the box - and my remote has now gone back to it's normal response rate. ie not exactly blisteringly fast, but bearable. I think there must have been a dodgy update.

Re: Slow Remote Reactions

There hasn't been an update, dodgy or otherwise. I'm sure your box is faulty. The smart card error message helps confirm this.

Leave it for now as it seems to have settled down, but ring the Faults team at VM if it plays up again.
