It's an awful idea. There's no point in pledging allegiance to the queen when our own politicians have pledged theirs to the EU anyway. It's another farcical suggestion from Gordon.

I would not swear allegiance to the Queen, as I am not a royalist, just looking through history shows the royal line has no more honour than you or I. How many murders is the royal line responsible for, of inconvenient family members, surplus wives and so on?
