True, my dad died of this. The pathologist told us that once the Aorta ruptured, he would have lived for maybe 10 seconds.

The problem is that that article doesn't make a link between the op and the money beyond saying he won the lottery. It doesn't say whether he had the op done privately or on the NHS.
