Right, thats it, tomorrow I'm gonna have a crack at setting my N95 8 gig up as a modem on the lappy. I'll see how that goes before taking further action, do you think it'll stand a game of CoD4

only if you like a ping in the 200 - 300 range.

Does work for World of Warcraft though (well my t-mobile modem did)
Only in 3G HSDPA though, GPRS latency is around 2000ms at times, way to high for anything like that.

Lets not forget this is not really a BB connection, it's ok for general web browsing, email etc...

That's about it, it's actually good when you look at previous mobile connections!

After all even VM ain't that good for gaming anymore and they are a serious BB provider!

Well got it set up, getting various results on speed test, average is around about 500 d/l and 300 u/l It will do for now, I'll try again later.
