PVR Harddrives are specifically designed with huuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuge 1/2 megabyte blocks (1k on PC) to eliminate fragmentation issues

Unlike a PC (1k blocks) mean they may only have fraction of a second to find next block - PVR's on the other hand have like a whole minute to find the next block - so fragment issues are really redundant

I have been using and recording to my HD for over a year now without any problems until now. After recording to the HD and later going back and playing the picture freezes. MOST annoying as it is now just out of warranty.
