Re: New houses/Apartments for free...!

There is nothing to prevent neighbours of problem tenants complaining to the relevant RSL (Registered Social Landlord) responsible as at the end of the day it is easier and fairer to move the tenant than have to sell up and move away from the problem.

Re: New houses/Apartments for free...!

I fully agree with Xaccers as long as you act soft and continuely make excuses people will take the p*** it is time for the excuses to end and for people old enough to gain social housing to appreciate it and be part of a caring community. If they are unable to do so then they should be either put with others like them or completely segregated.

Obviously it is not a first strike sort of thing but if after being offered help to handle whatever problems they continue in their anti social behaviour then eviction. Some in our modern society will take "understanding" and "compassion" for a ride and will abuse it while others where it could make a big difference will not recieve it in the first place.

There are many area's in our society where i feel the softly softly approach has not only failed but has made matters significantly worse and it is now time for the onus to shift back to the decent the hardworking the law abiding and stop constantly siding with those elements that hold all of that in contempt.
