Re: Bliar to be Mid-East envoy
Thing is, what's Bush going to think of him after he becomes a catholic?
Or maybe that's the plan?
Bliar becomes catholic, brings the pope and catholic church on board against the middle east and we actually do have another crusade?
Maybe not.

Do you think he might have a little birthmark above his hairline?

Possibly, but it's more like 665
It's known that many in the US believe that in order to bring about the end of days (like that'd be a good thing) the temple must be rebuilt in Jerusalem.
Unfortunately, there's this big gold domed building there, can't think what it's for, but I reckon the users of said building might object to it being knocked down (ironic really considering the linking of christianity and islam) even if it is to fulfill a prophecy given by their god.
Course all that could be bunkum, with 666 being the number of Caeser Nero, who was also known as the beast.
Although, american's do seem to love Bliar, but then, all they've seen of him is support, they've not actually had to suffer under his leadership

They might, but that doesn't preclude the possibility of it happening - it wouldn't the first time a large religious building on that site was demolished by an occupying power.
Not that I'm condoning that in any way. In fact I think it's a bit daft that anyone would attempt to artificially bring prophesy to fulfilment. The Bible amply demonstrates that it is not necessary to give God a helping hand in that way.

The early Church would agree with you. In fact the church throughout the ages until comparitively recently was 'amillenial' in its interpretation of the Book of Revelation. The current fashion is American and is very much associated with certain streams of the Pentecostal movement over there (and now, by the usual process of West-East transatlantic osmosis, over here).

Indeed. And nor will they now either, it's the Middle East's turn to suffer.

Re: Bliar to be Mid-East envoy
Come on guys i think its a great idea having tony bliar as a middle east peace envoy i mean look at the fantastic state the uk is in after having him lead us for ten years. He is a man with a very deep and committed belief in the international gravy train and will push himself to stop off as many times as he can before reaching the ultimate gravy destination the UN or as i like to call it the Unliked Nationals. Personally my only sadness that our hair trigger tony is going is that he isn't taking his pal gordon for a ride out of the uk as well.

Worried ? Rightly so I guess as which is the most likely candidate today to be the black prince ? It has been said it was G.W.Bush but as Mr Brown has taken over leadership of Britain by default & uncontested maybe he is an even closer candidate for the role.
