I know its in the favourites menu and you press one of the coloured buttons to hide the adult listings

That sounds perfect, if you can help me out with that I'd be v.chuffed

Re: I need advice - pretty fast!

Hmmm, just checked this on V+ box, ex TW Blackpool, and the piccys show and no mention of not being subscribed, even though not subscribed.

Quickly flicking through TV guide they all run 10:00pm - 6:00am, on the screen in minute writing it does tell you how to lock the channel.

Just checked and if you press HOME, then select settings, then locked channels, after entering PIN you can lock channels out. If you press yellow, it will hide adult listings

Re: I need advice - pretty fast!

dailygeek,

Install can vary. If house has never had cable, they will have to run a line from street junction, up garden to house. They'll then fit a brown box to outside wall. They'll then fit a box inside house and install your kit. Then they phone activations and get it all swithched on

Previous house had never had cable, so they had to do the run from street to house. As it was only lawn etc, they dug down about half a spade deep, then ran the cable in conduit to house. Took about 1 hour. They don't bury it deep enough, cut through it a few times.

Current home had previously been connected, so was simply a case of bringing in kit and calling activations, total time 20 mins

All the install teams we've had have been good and tidied up after themselves

Re: I need advice - pretty fast!

dailygeek,

As you are already connected to the network for BB, they'll fit a splitter so they can feed both BB and TV box.

Think you should be ok, our V+ has the new virgin software and the old box the old TW software, both use the same method I posted. As you are on blueyonder for BB, I assume you are ex TW.
