True. But, I swear, were being invaded by Tescos - they're EVERYWHERE! There's 3 of them within 2 miles of me. Even the new naming rights to the East Stand at Coventry City's Ricoh Arena have been sold to you-know-who. I now sit in The Tesco Stand!

Branson mulls over Virgin Media supplying utilities
Sir Richard Branson has floated the idea of Virgin Media eventually branching out into utilities, with customers receiving a single monthly bill for all services to their homes.
The Virgin founder, who owns almost 11pc of Virgin Media, said adding utilities to its current "quadplay" offering of cable television, fixed and mobile telephony and broadband internet could prove attractive to customers.
"Now we've got a billing system for all that, it might make sense for Virgin Media to finish off and sort out gas, electricity and water as well. But I haven't spoken to anyone about it," he said.
Virgin once previously licensed its brand to an electricity utility, France's EDF,
but Sir Richard said: "We regretted it and took it back."
A more pressing issue for the rebranded Virgin Media, formerly NTL-Telewest, is to renegotiate a new contract with rival BSkyB to show the Sky One channel on its cable network.
Talks over the contract descended into a fractious row yesterday after BSkyB took out advertisements warning Virgin Media's cable viewers that some Sky channels could "disappear" unless negotiations could be concluded.
News from Daily Telegraph.

Re: [Merged] Virgin Media & Fuel too?
From PrestonToday: ( http://www.prestontoday.net/ViewArti...9&SectionID=74)
Quote:
Marketing director James Kydd, of the newly-formed Virgin Media group, revealed the success of the merger between Virgin Mobile and ntl:Telewest last week could lead to parts of its new business being integrated into the rest of the group.
He said that could include Virgin Trains, which run hourly services passing through Preston and Lancaster stations, benefiting from the cable giant's arrival.
In an exclusive interview with Business and Money, Mr Kydd said: "Everyone knows the links between various Virgin companies and every new addition to the group can add benefit back into the group as a whole.
"If you imagine the trains of tomorrow being like living rooms with the ultimate in luxury provided to our customers, that is what we at Virgin would like to see, and the arrival of ntl:Telewest can play a part in that.
"It is not unfeasible to think that in the future we could be beaming cable television to passengers on our trains."
