Does the person sending get any error messages? Have you got forwarding set up? (click "options" then "rules")

Re: Email problems

You can overcome this sort of problem with a new service from a company called Loa Powertools (http://www.loapowertools.com). Their service is still in beta, but you can get in on the beta.

Re: Email problems

Back to the original problem, I had the exact same error as Esselite, ie, Server: 'pop.ntlworld.com', Protocol: POP3, Server Response: '-ERR AVG POP3 Proxy Server: Cannot connect to the mail server!', Port: 110, Secure(SSL): No, Server Error: 0x800CCC90, Error Number: 0x800CCC90
I seem to have cured it by running the AVG setup, add remove components and uncheck the e-mail scanner (this removes it) - rebooted then run setup again and reinstalled the e-mail scanner, but this time it gives you a configuration option, chose it to run as personel e-mail scanner but there are other options, up to now (2 days later) it's OK.
