Ok the flip side of the coin they have to use certain words to get the message across bluntly as poss to warn other women in the same trade etc. But it's like sometimes they ain't woman but a sub species. It is a shame in this day and age.
Anyway I live in the center of Ipswich, and it is a worrying time, just hope they find the person(s) responsible as soon as possible.

I was thinking that earlier, what the media coverage would be like compared to last time, then the media only seemed to take interest when he started killing 'ordinary' women

Re: The Suffolk 'Ripper'
You know, they're not discussing the cause of death. Unless I've missed something, it's just not mentioned at all. This article mentions "causes of death unknown" - http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/england/suffolk/6164475.stm This suggests a lack of violence. And they're not sexually assaulted. And the clothes are missing. So what nutter strangles women, keeps their clothes and puts them in water. I'd be slightly easier about it if he were sexually assaulting them - would make a lot more sense. Scary times.

They're would be more violence if he felt outrage or disgust. Definitely a wacko though.

Re: The Suffolk 'Ripper'
Since everyone is doing a bit of armchair psychology...
He probably thinks he's saving them, given the lack of 'violence' and lack of sexual assault, so he probably sees it more as a act of kindness than murder.
I also expect the police aren't releasing all the details for obvious reasons, but I should also think that he's ashamed of what he's done to them, so their faces probably covered, with a bag or something.
Or he's just a nut job, whose pet hamster is telling him to do things.

Re: The Suffolk 'Ripper'
If you put the body in water it ensures a lot of the evidence is destroyed. Evidence also sticks to clothes so if you take them away then not many clues are left.

If it's as described in the news, it may be worse than the Yorkshire Ripper. All the girls mentioned so far have been killed in the last couple of months. The yorkshire ripper apparently took several months to kill all his victims.

Err several years for all his victims wasn't it, unless you mean several months to kill the same number.
The thing is as well the Yorkshire ripper had a lot to choose from, apparently there are only 30- 40 prostitutes in Ipswich.

Possibly, although wasn't Sutcliffe 'killing his wife', each time he struck? Who knows what reasons a damaged mind could have for carrying out such acts

Someone said this (or there abouts) once, which made me laugh: "Why is it when people hear voices, it is to kill people? Why not hear voices to give to charity or something?"
