Re: NTL:Telewests new name.
ROFL, that MOV is crunchy, and thats the best bitrate advert Encode this wonderful new FUN company can produce and stream off their own WAN servers to their own customers, i noticed that even the tw/by 600kbit/s tv stream is real crumby these days (compared to last nov or so)

Here's hoping this helps
"Virgin Media promises to live up to Virgin's long-established reputation for offering world class customer service. To help accelerate this transformation, the company has recently committed an additional £5 million in 2006 to improve customer care, ahead of the launch of Virgin Media. "
|
the very same customer care that is sending round 3rd party agents Qnet at £150 a pop to wrongly disconnect fully payed up users by pulling/removing the outside wall box spitter

Re: NTL:Telewests new name.
Virgin Media, sounds like a news agency or something, not a Broadband/Telecoms company.
Once again the marketing consultants who no doubt were paid a small fortune have failed to come up with the goods.

Re: NTL:Telewests new name: Virgin Media
The new logo looks like customers chasing their tails for infinity trying to get their billing sorted out.

Re: NTL:Telewests new name: Virgin Media
I think its very cleaver. Big names coming together putting two products into one service. This might be the bang the UK needs, it was on TV this morning also that Q1 - Summer 50mb will be rolled out under Virgin media. I hope they also say 100mb by the end of 07.

From El Reg:

A statement form the company says: "Virgin Media promises to live up to Virgin's long-established reputation for offering world class customer service." Which will make up for NTL's more mixed reputation for caring for its customers.
|
I think Chris T might beg to differ
His experience certainly puts me off Virgin.
