Yeh I tried it - it's good but it's the memory usage that I got concerned about.

I built a good streamlined version of kubuntu for my laptop and so memory is important.

ROFL ghost ? Nah wheres the fun in that ? ne way it was network rsynced.... Anyway I just rebooted and this machine is well screwed I've lost Xwindows and am in a shell writting this using lynx... I'll have to log on to see what the post really looks like

Just doing the network restore whilst I write It shouldnt take too long to complete then I can get off this c**y windows machine and back to Linux.

Think this time I'll download the CD and try the upgrade that way

It was a bit ambitous trying the ugrade whilst actively using it for mail and browsing LOL : Linux is good but not the good I suppose.
