No fun having a computer these days by the time you are running all that and while it's running all else slows down you wonder if you own the computer or it owns you.
Really when you think about it just to be online these days is a real cat and mouse game, name of the game ' Dodge the Bad Bugs'
I use my PC for fun but now I wonder if the fun is worth the stress of it all.

All true; but its no different then being out in the 'real world'. The chances are you’re just as likely, if not more so, to get mugged out on the streets, as you are online.

That's very true so really we all don't stand a chance do we?

Funny though when you think about it, when I got my first PC about 8 years ago there wasn't half as much to worry about, now we have to scan for this and scan for that and still you get about 60 spam emails a day.
I wonder if they will ever be able to get a grip on all this and we wont have to do all this boring looking for the bad guy stuff.

Funny though ever since I got rid of Nortons Internet Security in 2003-2004 I've had much less virus attacks and trojans.

Either I've got better stuff for free, or for some reason I don't get hit as much.
The reason you probably dont get hit as often is that when Virus writers write their expoits they target specific major AV software so once you get one then usually it will let the controller know they have penetrated a system and its AV is Norton... please send me more Virii that is written for Norton...

When u change you break the cycle
