Re: Screw Up After Box Change

I have eventually made contact and been told it will be sorted in a couple hours.

Question - If it takes couple of hours today to rectify their mistake, why was I told on Friday that it would take 24 Hrs?

It will take upto 24hours for the service order for the correct box number to be posted, then it can take a few hours for the hits to clear to enable the channels

Re: Screw Up After Box Change

Thanks monkeybreath.

They sorted it out 30 mins after I made contact after their systems came back up.

OK so it takes 24 hrs for an SO. But....the initial error was made during installation so why should I have to wait a further 24Hrs for them to correct their own mistake?

If the CS agent can do the business why wasn't it done Friday afternoon?

You know, looking back I thought it was too good to be true to report a fault at 08:05 Friday morning and be told someone would be round before 13:00. I suppose what, for once, I gained on the swings this time, I lost on the roundabouts
