Face it, Whats easier? Downgrading on the net, or ringing Ntl? Downgrading on the net of course, Hence NTL remove it, and make it harder for you to downgrade
yes its true its excellent business sense really if CS is closed and you want to downgrade you cant and then the hope would be you forget about it and just continue using the service as usual

That is complete bull$h1t I'm afraid.

You can't downgrade online, end of subject-did you get the name of the person that fed you this BS?

As Neil has said, you cannot downgrade online, better CS would be for NTL to allow you to do this. All you would have to do is enter your account number and a password, I'm sure it wouldn't be that difficult for NTL to set this facility up.

Re: Downgrading via website

I phoned to downgrade and the person who dealt with the downgrade didn't do it. The modem was rebooted by JustanotherNoob and it wass till 1mb I had to get Debs off the forums to check for me and yes it was still the gold package..

Have to be firm with them if you want to downgrade... Or you will end up paying the new charges..
