Re: Smart Card Not Registered - Help!!!!!

Thanks for your offer to help, but I think my local ntl must sort this one out.

I`ve been a customer of first Comcast, then later ntl for over 7 years and I`ve never had this sort of trouble. I`ll give them a little longer and then if no joy, then it`s goodbye ntl TV. I`ll keep the phone and internet though (for now).

Re: Smart Card Not Registered - Help!!!!!

Well it took 30 minutes and some non-enjoyable music on the phone, but I cancelled the TV. Pity in a way after so many years as a "valued customer". Reading elsewhere, I understand the company may have TV spiked boxes to kill off illegal practices? And that some legal connections were hit too. Did this happen with mine I wonder?

Or despite paying all my accounts on time via direct debit, am I one of the 23,800 customers that ntl is reputed to be elbowing this quarter due to non compliance with their policies. Whatever non compliance might be.

Over and out.
