If you move something from a cold place to a warm place, condensation forms. That's why when you have new electrical stuff delivered you have to leave it for a while before switching it on, otherwise the moisture could cause a short and/or damage components.

The temperature change would have been about a degree at most, I dont think Im using a 3 in 1 scart though Im not sure, but wouldnt this make no difference as it worked upstairs before?
