Re: Have you ever been insulted?
Some indian woman put the phone down on me yesterday, she was calling to chase a payment for £3.50 from my g/f, refused to tell me who she was, where she was from or what she wanted, she kept mispronouncing my g/f's name, could barely speak english and was beginning to wind me up, I decided to be a little immature and made excuses like "no, she'll be at work", "no, she'll be visiting her mother in the hospital" etc whenever she enquired (at least I think that was what she was asking) about good times to call, eventually (knowing full well it was GE Capital calling as they're the only people with an indian call centre who chase such pathetic amounts when they're a couple of day's overdue) I told her I'd get my g/f to call GE Capital when she had a spare minute, she grunted and put the phone down, she's (or her associates) have phoned at least 5 times (the calls are routed through a UK number which they can't withhold) and they now just put the phone down as soon as they hear my voice

Ouch! Next time I get eye strain or some other similarly pathetic complaint I'm going to feel very guilty when I moan at my g/f about it. I'd say "get well soon" but it'd be a bit silly of me, so instead, long may the drugs continue to have a positive effect!
