Just read the bit about interactive etc. and I was wondering what one I was on? Am I Bromley or Langley?

I am in Glasgow if that Helps!!!

I am on the Bromley system. HOWEVER... I must (yet again) point out that there is a lot of the Bromley system customers without CR3 / Interactive and BB. Mainly ex-CWC Videotron, Londaon Areas.

I'm ex Videotron as well. How comes we don't have CR3?? And when are we gonna get it?

Oh boy....

Well, it depends who you beleive. To some, it's a consipiracy, and there's no reason you can't have it, except for the fact that NTL don't want to give it to you.

In reality though, it's because the network is very poor in these areas, meaning many people do not have a return path (their boxes cannot communicate back to NTL), which is necessary for CR3 and interactive. Although some people in some areas do have one, and so can get broadband (but only for the last few days!), NTL cannot upgrade people to CR3 until everybody in a particular franchise has a decent return path. These upgrades are expensive, and NTL haven't been/are not willing to spend the money required.

So does that mean i won't be able to get broadband from NTL, as i've been thinking about getting it recently?

I suggest you direct this question to the London thread in the Broadband forum. They'll have a lot more idea.

I suggest that you direct this question to ntl: sales team and let us know what answer you were given! You should post your answer on the London Broadband Thread, but given that the availability of BB and CR3 are linked, its much of a sameness where you post!
Good Luck!

ntl is The Company Formerly Known As CableTel. CableTel bought a company called ntl and then used that name to rebrand itself.
