I'm confused. I haven't got any spare holes in my computer for the port of the ethernet card.

dodger

nice review on the page about that router..........'OK maybe i should have looked more closely but it apears you still need a dsl modem to make this unit function. It didn't make that clear when i bought it though - I just thought that when it said BROADBAND Ethernet Router that it would connect to broadband and route!'

was the blokes name lemming by any chance?

I might just go for wireless. Anyone got any cheap under £50 wireless routers?

wireless is more expensive and you'll need a wireless adaptor for the pc u want to connect, unless it's fairly new and it has wi/fi built in? which it hasnt cos u dont even have an ethernet port on your pc----

so let me get this right, u want to connect your pc to the main pc in the house to share the ntl/cable internet? the router will connect to your main pc via the utp cable thats provided with it... then u just run the long ethernet cable that you're buying, from the router to the usb-utp adaptor, thats it... no network card required in your pc... unless u want to have a dabble?.
