I've ordered the other half to go on Fifa to see what the lag is like as it's usually horrendous when there's lots of yellow bits.
the yellow is peak latency, so its the highest altency recorded during the interval on the graph, so high yellow is bad but its not necessarily a true indicator of whats going on, the blue is more important in the regard. The blue is average latency, on your graph the difference between blue and yellow is quite big meaning your peaks are high but your average is not as terrible however you should not be getting those kind of spikes 24/7 consistently so thats a warning something is wrong, and the blue is ever increasing suggesting something wrong also.

The green is min (base) latency and looks normal.

Ideally you want blue as close as possible to green and for green to be steady flat.

Have you installed JDAST? You can watch the latency test which displays graphically, showing the peaks/troughs over the chosen period for the test.

Not yet, it was going to be installed on my other half's laptop as it's wired, my laptop isn't usually unless I plug it in myself (usually when downloading).

Would it still work on my laptop? or would it be best to go on the wired connection?

If you're at home then plug your machine in and install Jack's speed tester. At least you'll have a better idea about your connection.

Borderline. But it really shouldn't be fluctuating that much.

Re: Think Broadband Ping Monitor Results (POST YOURS)

you need to post up before and after on the VM forum including the new down channel added. they will probably pm you to book a tech but be wary my downstream power levels went up a few weeks ago then dropped. upstream increased a bit too. not sure what was going on but it went back to normal. i refused a tech visit because i had a feeling it would go back to normal but then again my upstream wasnt 58. has your connection become unstable? i remember you was connected to the pee box? no banks of different attenuation and rather the other type (i cant remember)

---------- Post added at 23:02 ---------- Previous post was at 22:57 ----------

just seen your edit. dont let a tech come out until you know the forum team have passed your post to networks.
