re: Rate the last movie you saw
the book of Eli
i enjoyed it, a bit violent but a good yarn about a mans quest to deliver the last of a certain book - cant say any more might spoil the plot
7/10

If the actor is good (as Robert Downey Jr is), his or her nationality should not matter.
Look at James Bond. He is the quintessential Englishman, yet out of the 6 men who have played him (Sean Connery, George Lazenby, Roger Moore, Timothy Dalton, Pierce Brosnan, Daniel Craig), only two (Roger Moore and Daniel Craig) have been English.

Inside Man - 8/10.
Excellent film, that made me think.

re: Rate the last movie you saw
Last two films I saw:
Book of Eli: After WW3, Civilisation has collapsed and Anarchy reigns. Denzel Washington is head west across the US, and comes across a small town that is run by Gary Oldman, who is excellent as the bad guy. Denzel Washington is, as usual, Excellent. Mila Kunis is good, once you get past the surprise of seeing Meg from Family Guy on the big screen. 7/10, but it loses out a bit because it slows down in the middle.
Daybreakers: Excellent Sci Fi, with good performances from all the cast (even though I had the irritating feeling I'd seen the leading lady before, but could not find where I had even after an IMDB lookup). 8/10

(500) Days of Summer - 9/10
The best film I have seen about love - the highs, the lows, the joy, the pain, the reality.

Avatar 3D
8/10
Awesome FX etc., 3D was good (but not worth paying over £10 for a ticket), good action at the end. Better than Titanic, at least, but I'd rather watch T2 or Aliens.

To be fair it has been out for nearly 8 weeks now. I'm sure there would have been more time slots available if you had gone sooner

Only 23 years after everyone else, and in anticipation of the upcoming sequel, Wall Street - 7/10. I can see why the time is right for WS 2.

UP - 5/10 I found it quite boring but the kids seemed to like it.
Alvin and the Chipmunks 2 The Squeakquel - 6/10 - Not as good as the first. Kids really enjoyed it.
