Well it must be a big content deal if Premier Sports think it'll tempt Virgin into talks. I'm not too sure what sports rights are available right now. Thinking about what would tempt virgin into talks, I think it would need to be a football deal and I suspect it's one we've seen before, from the days of Setanta Sports.
Seeing the Euro 2012 qualifiers are coming to an end this month, and the various home nations have no control over who broadcasts their away fixtures, I would not be surprised to hear that Premier Sports have landed the following:
All England away qualifiers for World Cup 2014
All England away friendlies over the next 24 months
All Scotland away qualifiers for World Cup 2014
All Scotland away friendlies over the next 24 months
All Wales away qualifiers for World Cup 2014
All Wales away friendlies for the next 24 months
All Ireland away qualifiers for World Cup 2014
All Ireland away friendlies for the next 24 months
All Northern Ireland qualifiers for World Cup 2014
All Northern Ireland friendlies for the next 24 months
It's very similar to the deal Setanta Sports agreed with all the various foreign TV broadcasters about 4 years ago. Seeing it's the same guys behind Premier Sports, this to me seems to be the most likely content deal. Setanta didn't have to spend big money for this previously, they where quick out the blocks and secured the TV rights before SKY, ITV and BBC had even started negotiations. Sure it'll be about 10 months before the first qualifying games, but there will be plenty of friendlies between now and then.
I also wouldn't be surprised if Premier Sports have landed the TV rights to broadcast the up coming play-off qualifiers for Euro 2012 between the 8 second place teams in each group.
The only other thing I can think of is all is not well between UFC and ESPN UK which might have allowed Premier Sports to secure a deal. Seems there was a desire for the UFC to have a joint UK and Eire deal?

Remember I don't know any of this for sure however I beleive Premier Sports need to secure a big rights deal before Virgin would even consider talking to them seriously.
