The colour buttons are still there, it's just that ntl have changed what they do (and they have an annoying habit of popping in and out of view). In the Guide, I think it's as follows:
- RED: Set mini-view or reminder
- GREEN: -24hr
- YELLOW: +24hr
- BLUE: Diary
The new remotes also have a Settings button, so if you can get hold of one of these you can get to Settings in one click.

Do you want my box with the updated software, we could swap. Is there anyway to go back . Give me back the purple . It worked fast and reliably, it skipped unsubscribed channels - I don't care I'm not subscribed to MUTV - and "did what it said on the tin".

Agreed, it makes you wonder how long it was tested for before the first areas were "upgraded". I for one do not like the new system purely based on the performance of the STB. I have had so many "Your Set Top Box is experiencing Issues" messages I've lost count. I can't see how it can be the box, either, as it was working perfectly before the download. I wish there was still the ability to page up and down the channels when browsing in the "mini guide", too
I've gone from having no problems in the last 3 yrs to an unacceptable service. I too want to go back to the old purple software - I couldn't give a toss about E-TV stuff anyway.

Does Warwick include all of Warwickshire? (ie Nuneaton, Bedworth, Leamington etc?)

Have to say, that when i was playing around with it yesterday morning (about 10am) the mini-guide only showed channel info to 3:00pm in the afternoon. Is that how its meant to be?

I've noticed this too!! A day has never gone by when I haven't noticed the limited timescale of the Mini-Guide!! And yes, it does appear to go up to approximately 1500hrs.
Strange!!

Otherwise, I will ask someone here to go through and see what questions they can pick out to respond to.

Sam :
Following your plea as above, I can see that a couple of people have said they have pm'd Neil with specifics, but most haven't and without wading through all the pages of tis thread they probably don't know they should.
Since not every ntl customer is a member of this site, it must surely mean that there are some underlying issues affecting a number of customers.
Isn't it in ntl's interest to not only to analyse this thread, but also to delve a little deeper to establish, for instance, whether there is a specific stb model that is giving rise to the problems? Or are you able to get this from your CS systems? Is the stb model/version recorded automatically by CS? I don't recall ever being asked for that info by CS in the past - and in fact I wouldn't have known how to get the info without proppin's advice earlier in this thread.

Old Langley bug revisited in LCR3
Sorry for putting this in a seperate thread but i woke up this morning, turn on the telly and saw in front of me a 4:3 picture in a 16:9 frame unsquezzed. (I hope that make sense)
Every channel which should be broadcasting 4:3 was broadcasting like this. All widescreen channels were correct. The only exception to this was Channel Five which was normal 4:3.
Going into settings and putting the box into 4:3 normal then back to 16:9 cured it. Is this the return of the old widescreen issue that we had previously in new clothes?
I'm Langley, Northampton and this box is a Pace 4001NC
Anyone else have this problem?
