Re: [Merged] Show us your Desktop or Wallpaper
I have tested one of my mates, and am choosing between the 7700 Laptop Series, or a high end desktop from them. Although a system with similar specs from another site halves the price Alienware offer.

I'm looking at getting one of their high end desktops.
What other sites you looking at?

Re: [Merged] Show us your Desktop or Wallpaper
There is www.overclockers.co.uk which have some nice ones in, the one I fancy is the £1000 < nearly AMD 64 3500 with some good other specs.

And dude, if you're going to buy a system, it's probably worth spending the extra and getting an alienware if you're not confident about building your own. Whatever you do, DON'T buy one from overclockers, you'll end up with a box full of RMA'd crap that you'll forever be trying to phone them about (and as I've said before, getting through to them is near enough impossible).
