Re: Who Is Getting Fit This Year?
Having run 80 miles (so far) this year, I finally consented to weighing myself at the weekend - I've managed to lose 8lb since January.
The next challenge will probably be starting tomorrow, seeing as I've given myself a few days of recovery, and may even be 60 miles - not quite sure yet!

Re: Who Is Getting Fit This Year?
OK, I started the diet a week or so late, but have got off to a good start. Saturday was the day I began the diet. I've not eaten anything since then, all I have had are the 2 shakes a day (one in the morning and one at night), that I'm allowed and lots of sparkling water.
I bought 3 more weeks supply today, I reckon I'll have lost well over a stone by then.

How's the diet going Product, you should have lost several pounds by now?
I appear to have to have come to an impasse, the scales are just not moving despite still watching my diet and exercise. So my hopes of losing anymore before my hols next are looking 'slim'.

Re: Who Is Getting Fit This Year?
Bought 20kg and 24kg kettlebells last week (to go with the 12 & 16kg ones I had already)......the extra weight is noticable.

Re: Who Is Getting Fit This Year?
I don't need to lift 20kg kettlebells, I lift a couple of these every day.

Thanks for asking Tinky... 12 days today since I started the diet, and it's been extremely difficult! But no turning back now, I can already feel the difference, much more energy, plus feelings of euphoria! (I can take on the world!!) The cravings should have subsided by this time next week.
As for my weight, I haven't been on the scales since last Tuesday...
Thursday 10th (2 days before I started) = 18.1st
Tuesday 15th (4 days after) = 17.7st
I don't have a clue of what my weight is at the moment, but will nip into the surgery tomorrow and find out.

Wow! result or what Product?, you must be well chuffed!
I've resigned myself to be content with my meagre loss (19lbs since 6th Jan). Seems that despite all my efforts I am not going to get across that next stone barrier/indicater on my scales. But hey ho I'm feeling better for it, and I am not going to give up. I will renew my efforts after 14th April after I have fully indulged all my appetites on the Costa del Sol!

Re: Who Is Getting Fit This Year?
Looking to pursue a career in the Army so could do with some tips,
Was in MMA for about a year so was in perfect shape, Gave that up and piled on a bit since then
5''10 12.8st Roughly
An important factor is being able to run 1.5 miles in under 13 minutes. Im yet to try it, a year ago I would have smashed it but now I'm not so confident.
Tips greatly appreciated

Interval/Fartlek training.
Easiest way I find to do it is find a long-ish straight road. Sprint between a set of lampposts, jog the next set, sprint, jog etc.
