Indeed. Sky no longer carries Eden HD.

Be interesting to see how this development affects any future UKTV channels going FTA.

As discussed previously, GOLD going HD on Sky has nothing to do with the possibility of any UKTV channels going FTA.

Are Virgin/LG or Malone part owners of UKTV? If they are you would think we would get Gold HD to without an exclusive period for Sky.

I disagree, but in the end neither of us know for certain.

Don't think that the 50% sale of UKTV has gone through yet. If I'm correct, this may be why it's been done at this point in time.

Re: Coming Soon to Virgin Media TV (2017)
Overnight SDT scan data shows temporary rebrands, True Movies has now morphed into True Christmas and Nick Jr Too has morphed into Nick Jr Peppa.
The scan indicated that pack codes have been suppressed for Cartoon Network, Cartoonito, Nickelodeon, Boomerang, Pop, Tiny Pop & TV5, suggesting that these channels are currently available to all viewers. There's no indication of how long they will be available on all TV packs.

It doesn't but it's a self promotional press release focussing on the channel being made available across all of Sky's various European platforms for the first time. Probably not the best place to say also available on competing platforms.
I've been told that networks served by the Barnsley headend had further frequency changes overnight, with transport streams 31 and 38 to 41 on the move for the second time in 3 days. A game of frequency based musical chairs perhaps?

In the first week only 5 shows are in HD, just 8.5% of the schedule:
Big School
David Jason: My Life on Screen (special)
Live at the Apollo (1 episode)
Mrs Brown's Boys (1 episode)
The Story of Only Fools and Horses (special)
