Re: Football Season 2011/12
This is a wonderful second half because Arsenal are now 3-2 up.

not all fans, well not me. we need proper change in more areas than one. if Wenger doesn't rectify it then we deffo need David Dein back. If the board are too stubborn and wont support this club.. which will the case as making the decision to bring back Dein will be in the interest of the club not pleasing the figure heads around the place. anyway long story short if its not properly sorted out this summer then he can go, his family want out of England anyway.

Wooo awesome come back! Sagna is back as well! Let's keep that 2nd half performance for the entire season and we can salvage something.

how many times have we said that? its Wenger and his stubborn ways suffocating this club.. carrying this and improving wont happen because he wants the squad to pass the ball into an early grave and it takes us to concede goals for him to change.. pathetic. we need David Dein back so badly.. for an all round happy ending he needs to be reinstated.

We didn't change. The won the second half because we played like we used to play. Precise, quick, passing. It wasn't pathetic at all. Wenger deserves more respect than the likes of you and those fans chanting abuse at him today give him.

The squad is deployed in pathetic fashion. It hasnt happened just once. I dont chant abuse but i do have a strong opinion. 1 similar to the greats at Arsenal and men in the know at Arsenal. I wont blindly support this club blowing smoke so the current crap can carry on.

Re: Football Season 2011/12
Fans of today pay a great deal of money to watch clubs play, l used to travel home and away with Spurs for years and it cost me a fortune.
I always remember going to see Spurs play Hearts in Edinburgh once in a friendly, and there was only 20 fans that went up to Scotland.
Fans expect results from the club and if they don't get it, then they are entitled to criticise there team.
Spurs may have Stevenage in the next round, BUT we always struggle against lower league teams. I can remember when - l think Doncaster Rovers played us in the cup many years ago in the days of John Duncan, and they went two up in the first half.
It was after a rollicking in the second half that we came back and won 3-2.
Fans pay so much money to get into grounds today.

I'm sorry you paid and travelled to see Hearts...I live here, and am a fan...but won't even do that these days

Maybe you should call Barthez & persuade him not to sell his Manchester pad...

Re: Football Season 2011/12
The actions of the Arsenal fans today is precisely why I stopped following them as my main team. Fans are so fickle now, everything is measured in terms of how much silverware a team has.
Fans of clubs like Swansea are perfectly happy with their team this season, they are not at risk of relegation atm, yet not challenging for the league or any cups. Yet are their fans calling for Brendan Rodgers to be sacked?
Football has become such a mercenary sport now, it is nothing like how it was when I watched my first match at the age of 4 at Highbury. Fans cheered their side even if they were losing, and the board didn't change their manager every 6 months either.
Now, if Arsenal were down the bottom and struggling to maintain their top flight status, then yes the fans are entitled to boo the team, and demand a change in manager. But Arsenal will come good again, I'm sure they will.
I hope they will.
On a positive note, I'm pleased with Stevenage getting Tottenham at home, down to the stadium tomorrow to see if I can get a ticket for the match. Well worth spending money that is. Although I might get thrown out as I can get rather vocal watching football. Let's just say no swear word is left unsaid lol.
Pop quiz now:
Which player, if money was no object, would you sign for your team and why?

Messi, do I really need to give a reason?

No, I think I would have Messi for Wimbledon or Stevenage.
