Re: What have you just bought?
A new battery for my Casio watch. I first checked I could open it up! The digital display has gone dim. Still goes OK. Had it for years and this is the first new battery it's needed.

That brings back memories from the dark ages, i had 1 when i was in my teens.
I used to think it was nice even with its plastic glass!

This one's a little more up to date as it was a present on my 50th and seems to have real glass glass. It replaced a Sekonda which didn't have a digital display but was similar in shape.
Just bought a repacement motor for my Braun 1508 shaver off Ebay for £5. This'll be the second one I've replaced. Done the battery 3 times but I've had it for years and it does a very close shave. I did buy a newer model but it wasn't a patch on this one so it got canabalised for the motor.

Re: What have you just bought?
I recall my first LCD watch - a simple Casio with stainless steel bracelet. Compared to what had gone before it was like having something out of Star Trek. I used to look at it in wonder as the digits changed...

A pair of Q acoustics 2020i's to replace some really old rear (5.1) speakers. And it's made a huge difference so I'm quite chuffed with them.

An iPhone5SE (Rose Gold, 64GB) for SWMBO - her three year old iPhone5 16GB was painfully slow, and didn't have enough storage for her music and photos.
She chose this one because she likes the form-factor - she thinks the 6 is too big (for her).

Re: What have you just bought?
A Samsung S2 9.7" in black to replace my Nexus 7 (2012). If you buy from approved stockists by 6 April you can claim £50 back. Still works out at £299.99 which is a lot.
