Re: John obi Mikel
In the way that you don't want a player who doesn't want to play for you.
It's all claims and counter-claims. Utd reached a deal with the player and the club, whereas Chelsea say they already had a deal with the player's agents. Chelsea also claim to have been instrumental in Obi's move to Europe. Utd have also filed a complaint that Chelsea and Obi's agent, John ****tu, made illegal payments to Obi's family. ****tu is hardly a patron of virtue as he was caught money laundering recently.

Whoever he plays for, I signed him on Football Manager 2006 and he's been United's midfield engine all season - cracking player

Yeah, but you did score an important goal on Saturday
I've had great fun telling people that I used to work with Grimsbys top scorer - hardly my fault if they don't pay attention, now is it

 - waiting to see if they will appeal the sending off, or he may not be able to play at Cardiff

Lincoln become the first team to lose out in four successive play-off campaigns.

- along with iadom's mention of Grimsby being the only home win, makes it look like the luck was with us, for a change

Re: [Merged] The Football Thread 2005/2006 Season
can't bring myself to support the **** tonight so will be putting on my Barca shirt when i get home from work
as for Mikel i can't see him getting a game at Chelsea at all now they have Ballack, Lampard, Makele, Duff, Robben etc
United seems to be the best place for him but looks like the agent as got involved and turned the players head.. am sure he just wants Mikel to go to Chelsea as he will get a higher fee for himself there
