Re: What have you just bought?
Music CD "Barclay James Harvest Live" (The Stadium, Liverpool and the Theatre Royal, Drury Lane) and Sky 1 CD with a DVD of TV appearances. Both were double albums.
Allows me to keep the vinyl as pristine as possible for special listening sessions.

Its amazing how vinyl has made such a great comeback in the past couple of years as there are still quite a few people out there who like the physical copy rather then a digital download.

It's not just the physical copy, CD's are limited to 16 bit resolution and 44KHz sampling. Vinyl far exceeds this dynamic range so although there's more background noise the fidelity is IMHO better. MP3's are a very poor relation especially if the sampling rate is low.
It is also the case that many artists want the vinyl sound as part of the experience for the listener.

Just added to my Willow Tree collection and bought two together, I intend to place them next to the Soar figure that I plan to purchase next.

Re: What have you just bought?
A cast booklet for the lion king musical at the Lyceum in London. Just watched my first ever musical. Being a big security dude and musicals being way beneath my ego of course, I went in with the eager missus thinking I was in for a dire 2 hours. I don't care now though, absolutely brilliant, my first ever musical and it was truly magnificent. Excellent show, would recommend it to anyone.
TL R - Lion king theatre tickets and programmes. Brilliant way to round off my short escape from work to London.
Few bits and pieces from Hamleys. Magical pens etc for little ones back up north. Big Ben Pandora charm for the missus and general souvenirs.
