We can hope, Comedy Central has some of my favourite shows and I would love to see this go HD. The Channel is 25% owned by Sky so me may have to wait a while. But maybe the SD channels will go widescreen and maybe we might even get wisdecreen SD MTV channels as well?

Do virgin still have a link on their website where if you tell virgin customer service that you want the same deal as new customers you can get it? There used to be a webpage on their site with moving bubbles onscreen.

I'm currently paying £68/month + extra calls for L broadband, XL tv and L phone + some extra phone calls but new customers pay:

"£3.45 for 2 months, then £38.95 a month*"

I'd like XL for tv, broadband and phone and a V+ HD box which works out at:

"£3.01 for 2 months, then £46.01 a month +12/month phone line + £49 for v+box and i think a £15 self-install fee for the hd box.

How can i go about getting such an offer?

Just had an email off ESPN saying people need to contact there provider to carry ESPN America HD. Doesn't sound promising.

thats just a standard email reply that is sent to anyone asking for information. its basically saying that its up to your digital tv provider and the more you hassle them the quicker your tv provider may sort out a carrage deal.

its basically diverting the blame from ESPN to VM for not carrying it.

Last time I emailed them they stated they were in talks with Virgin but it was early days , that was a few months ago.

Well looks like you will have to enjoy SS HD 1 and 2 on my behalf. As I have tried everything to persuade my mum to order the 2 channels. But she is having none of it. She even denied me offering to pay it.
