Well all those things you don't like, are all within the rules. I'm not aware of us charging loan fees for the youngsters, just that all or part of the wages get paid, and I've no doubt every club does the same. And in the case of our players on loan at Vitesse, they might not even ask them to pay any of the wages. Youngsters with potential all over the world have always been gobbled up by higher league teams, and always will be. And I wouldn't get your hopes up about enough people moaning for it to be changed, none of the football authorities anywhere give a toss, they never do, or will.

11m£ fee not including Campbells loan fee. I'm not happy seeing Campbell go out, he offers something different which may well be required in the latter stages of the season. I don't know anything about this defender. i hope he is mean as he looks and he gets a work permit!

You're joking, the epp thing has made things worse than ever and was so close to being rejected by the football league, clubs there are shutting down academies in protest and a lot of it is to do with the advice young players are given, they might earn 10k a week but it's undeniable that they'd develop better playing competitively against men week in week out instead of getting lost in a big clubs development squad, the pfa should represent kids not agents, they're not old enough to sign a pro contract then they don't need an agent. You don't think west brom paid a fee for lukalu a couple of seasons back for instance?

Another door slams in Winston Reid's face, he'll end up with spuds if he isn't careful

Re: Football Season 2014/15
yup chances to kill the game were not taken. also telling that Wenger went back to his square peg round hole out wide game plan although he did stick with the two infront of the CBs.

Re: Football Season 2014/15
In the context of this weekend it was a good result. Managed to prevent a reply or an upset. The results yesterday would have given Brighton a lift I think.

Re: Football Season 2014/15
Well, we're no longer the highest placed team through to the next round, but Brighton are out so swings and roundabouts.

Come on Den, get past Bolton and you can come to Selhurst and keep up your impressive recent defensive form on our ground!
