Re: Football Season 2014/15
I don't understand, we keep being told that players are tired and need a winter break but when city get the opportunity to have a week of they jet of to the desert for a meaningless friendly and to be frank got exactly what they deserved, complete lack of respect shown to one of the championships top clubs by coming back yesterday. Shame Colin and kymmy don't post much anymore, be good to know their thoughts on the debacle

And a Chelsea loanee, who I'd like in the squad next season, led the way. A good point about how we've treated youth players in the past, is that Bradford had the same number as we did in their team....

Except he's not really a Chelsea youth he's a Forrest youth that was poached and is yet another prime example of how the grass isn't always greener, why any young player would join a top club even for the.cash is beyond me

I know where we got Bamford from mate, and he came in as a youth player, now he's out on loan. The majority of them will move for the money these days. Like it or not, that's the way it is now.

Re: Football Season 2014/15
I actually went to the Spurs game today. And being a Spurs fan for over thirty years, l was totally appalled at the way they played.
They went 1- 0 through a penalty, then just played as though they were going to win. Then plucky City got the goal they thoroughly deserved. And typical of Spurs, they conceded in the last couple of minutes - and then they put Kane on with FIVE minutes to go.
It really annoys me that, fans pay an awful lot of money to go to games - where players get thousands of pounds per week - and yet clubs just don't give a damn about the fans, as long as they get money through the turnstiles.
I went to the cup game with Sheffield, and they played the same way. Disgraceful.
Like some fan said on the way home, If Nicholson was alive today, most of those players, wouldn't be playing, and its just about money.

I feel that bread and butter clubs, deserves all credit. It also shows major embarrassment to snooty clubs.
It just to show that BIG clubs have little respect for lower league clubs
Nice one

The hold up play from Stead was outstanding.
Another shambolic defensive display from us. Fortunately Pardew has the forwards scoring.

Like young English players throwing their careers away for cash dangled far to early, like having larger clubs harvesting huge swathes of young players that other clubs have developed for peanuts, like having big clubs circumvent ffp by charging loan fees for 30+ players in one seasons, like big clubs stockpiling young English players just on the off chance one might break through, no mate I don't like it, don't like it one bit and just because things are so heavily tilted towards the big clubs now doesn't mean it'll always be and if enough people moan about it things will change again.

The excuses that teams and players play too many games does not wash with me.

The perfect way to deflect attention away from your former team tapping out at home in the FA Cup to a lower division side... http://metro.co.uk/2015/01/24/former...airdo-5035088/
