Re: FIFA World Cup 2010 South Africa
Looks like the slip up last week as cost Green dearly as he is dropped for tonights game. David James to take the helm.

James was always the #1 keeper, will be interesting to know if his knee is 100%??

And that sad fact sums up England's chances of any success in the tournament.

They showed Green in training practising the exact same shot on goal and he missed it again
But having had calamity James in goal for us in the past, i'm not convinced he's better
Anyhoos - let the drink begin to flow and COME ON ENGLAND!!

Re: FIFA World Cup 2010 South Africa
I wasn't too confident before the WC and now i've lost all spirit.
The wrong squad, the wrong positions, the wrong tactics, complete lack of organisation... and all points to the same thing: wrong manager.
Our qualification results flattered us. Everyone expected us to kick up a gear but we're going backwards.
It will be amazing if we make it out of the group stages at the moment.

England certainly aren't playing like they give a toss about the WC. Either that or they're being ultra cautious.

The most interesting thing so far has been the bird sitting on top of the goal.

Re: FIFA World Cup 2010 South Africa
I know they didnt win the prem but does anyone else wish it was Man Utd as England? The England team just never seem to gel I was hoping for 3-1 by this point. The players are meant to be the best the country has to offer but they just cant seem to work together. I still think we will go through though

Re: FIFA World Cup 2010 South Africa
I was saying to the missus that if the England team was in the Premiership we would struggle to qualify for the Europa league.
And now I hear that SWP is coming on FFS. And now he's taking off Lennon who is our most productive player by a mile.
What a joke.

How can anyone, even Capello say that the weakest link in the was Lennon? I am just flabbergasted.

Re: FIFA World Cup 2010 South Africa
England are playing like they've only just been introduced to each other. What a shambles.

Re: FIFA World Cup 2010 South Africa
As a neutral
I think its amazing how the commentators have changed from this will be a pushover, Algeria are gash, this should be a walk in the park before the game to the current post mortem and discussing whats needed to get beyond the initial stage.
