Indeed and like Stephen said it wasnt even a spoiler, no idea what I was on about there, too much drink perhaps?

I wasnt that impressed with last nights show, I think it was down to the bad acting of the girls when acting like vampires that I wasnt keen on but Im looking forward to next weeks. Looks like it will explain more about whats been going on. After a few weeks of watching and keeping an open mind, I like Matt but still think David Tennant was better.

Re: Doctor Who : Season 5

I thought it was a nice touch in yesterday's episode when the Doctor whipped out his library card that it had a picture of William Hartnell on it.

Episode 7: Amy's Choice (Broadcast: 15/05/2010 BBC1 HD via Sky)

Did anybody notice that the sound was a bit off last night? It sounded a bit metalic - like it was compressed. Like a bad MP3 / high compression streamed radio station or something.

Re: Doctor Who : Season 5

Don't know what the broadcast was like, but the "HD" programme on BBC iPlayer was fine.

It was fine for me on V+. I was watching it on HD, too.

Re: Doctor Who : Season 5

Oh yeah, the only reason I put "HD" in quotes was because I was using the web-based iplayer, and while it's an improvement on the standard web player, it's not what I call HD.

Re: Doctor Who : Season 5

Fair enough - wonder if its's an issue with our Sky box!

And another thing - anybody noticed that the opening titles had a few more thunder claps in it and it looked a bit more "violent" - wonder if that's anything to do with running theme of the crack....

Either that or I'm reading too much into it!!

Re: Doctor Who : Season 5

After all the hype about how great Matt Smith and this series was going to be, I'm afraid I've been underwhelmed.

Don't get me wrong he's not bad, he's just not that great either. Yet.

I don't like the new Tardis with it's bloody typewriter and other bits of junk on the console.

Witht he exception of the 1st angels episode I think the episodes up until now have been weak.

It really needs to ramp up over the second half of the run.
